Spark4 has seen firsthand the incredible power of taking team building outside. It’s not just about stretching your legs—it’s about transforming team dynamics in a fresh environment. Whether it’s morning yoga, a light hike, a bonfire brainstorming session, or a facilitated team building program, Spark4’s activities foster genuine conversations, new perspectives, and a level of engagement you don’t get in a conference room. 

Research shows that time in nature improves creativity, reduces stress, and strengthens interpersonal bonds so we craft our team building and leadership development experiences with this science in mind. We help client’s reimagine their agenda, transitioning from long general session to smaller group breakouts held outside around the hotel grounds. Some groups choose to get outside through our TrekConnect facilitation where meeting participants lace up and explore the area on foot while having meaningful conversations with their colleagues. Other outdoor team building favorites include hand built custom scavenger hunts and Ebike tours with Spark4’s signature enhancement.

Last fall, Spark4 partnered with Colorado Ebike Tours for a guided ride through Summit County. Ebikes, with their battery-assisted pedaling, allowed our group to cover a lot of ground with considerably less effort. Having saved up their energy, the group stopped at several checkpoints where Spark4 facilitated experiential activities that tied into the client’s meeting objectives. To the group, it just felt like pure connection and fun. After the ride, we debriefed, reflecting on insights that applied to the professional and personal growth of the participants.
